Pankaj Udhas passed away at the age of 72. He was a well-known ghazal and playback singer. The Udhas family announced on Monday that a protracted illness was the cause of his death.
“I have always believed that you need to move ahead with time,” he added during his first live performance in Lucknow during the epidemic era. At present, the digital medium is the primary means of human interaction. I am now concentrating on my YouTube channel. I want to introduce many ideas about poetry and ghazals through it.
Along with Lucknowian theater star Salim Arif, he is creating a musical. “I’m developing a show about Mirza Ghalib. Though not in the same manner as in the epic serial, it will center on the Urdu mythology. The singer, who will age 70 in May, added that he feels just 50 at heart. “In addition, starting next month, listeners will get to hear new singles— a little bit about songs, the composition, lyrics, and other aspects,” the singer stated.
