Over 300,000 People Show Up for UAE Culture Days in Moscow.

Moscow: One of the main locations for the Summer in Moscow initiative, Manezh Square, hosted the UAE Culture Days from June 28 to July 2. The comprehensive program, which included vibrant performances and workshops, introduced visitors and capital city dwellers to the nation’s unique characteristics.

Mutual respect, a cautious approach to the preservation of cultural heritage, and the spiritual values of the people form the basis of our countries’ cooperation in the field of culture. The UAE Culture Days’ location in the center of the Russian capital is a historic move towards advancing and bolstering this kind of cooperation. At the event’s official opening, Olga Lyubimova, the Russian Federation’s Minister of Culture, welcomed the guests and said, “Moscow residents and visitors have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere of the Arab East, get acquainted with the bright original culture of the UAE, learn about traditions, costumes, cuisine, attend master classes and, of course, enjoy the performances of excellent musical groups.

For the first time, Manezh Square hosted the UAE Culture Days. These occasions are extremely significant historically and educationally, demonstrating the richness of the Emirates’ culture. According to Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Sultan Essa Al Jaber, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Russian Federation, participants in the event were able to learn more about our nation’s history and find its hidden gems.
