New bus route for Mamzar beachgoers launched in Dubai

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is launching the W20 bus route line, which will run only on weekends starting on February 9, 2024. It will run every half hour from Friday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., linking Stadium Metro Station and Al Mamzar Beach. This service is provided for the convenience of bus passengers, particularly beachgoers in Al Mamzar.

RTA also plans to optimize many public bus routes to improve customers’ everyday transit experiences and provide them with smoother, more comfortable travels to various locations within the emirate. These upgrades are expected to shorten travel times and simplify bus commuter movement.

Renaming Route 11B as Route 11 is one way to improve the bus rider experience. Furthermore, Routes 16A and 16B will now be known as Routes 16 and 25, respectively, after being realigned. While Route 25 departs from the Gold Souq Bus Station and ends at Al Rashdiya, Route 16 departs from the Al Rashdiya Bus Station and travels to Al Awir.
