We recently had the privilege of interviewing Mr Mike Badran, Partner and General Manager at True Line For Promotions and Events Management. At the organization, Mr Mike and his team offer an extensive range of services, including direct marketing, event consultancy, design, and implementation.
Besides, the team also offers quality entertainment packages, trained staff, promotion campaign planning, and much more. In this insightful session, Mr Mike Badran shares his insights on this industry and offers a glimpse of his business, along with his upcoming plans for the organization.
Worth-Sharing Milestones
We started the interview by asking, “What were the key milestones in your career that led you to where you are today?”
Mr Mike Badran said, “There are a lot of them, but the most important ones are to work passionately and enjoy what you do to succeed. Although not every workday is stressful or goes well, you must remember that life is not always black and white. Therefore, we need to be aware of that and have faith in the idea that we might cry one day and grin the next. Maintain the same degree of expertise in your help while having a thorough understanding of your career. And, constantly keep in mind that time is your enemy.”
Rising Amidst Adversities
We were intrigued to learn more about the approaches followed by Mr Mike Badran as a leader of his team. So, we inquired, “Describe a day in your life as the leader of your company. What are your main focuses and challenges?”
He replied, “Firstly, I start the day with the sun, then arrive at the office before the team to check emails, prepare assignments, and get ready for a busy day, which could be challenging.”
Self-Motivation Amidst Daily Operations
We further asked, “How do you stay motivated and continue to find passion in your work?”
He added, “Always keep in mind that our life is made up of two main segments – Social one and Career or work one. Look at the career first and give it more attention because this will lead you to a good social one, not vice versa. Also, keep in mind that whatever your day passes hard with some conflicts and ups with downs, all are lessons to grow up more and lift your business to a better place.”
Fostering A Healthy Workspace
To learn more about how Mr Mike Badran encourages efficient teamwork and offers a healthy work environment. We asked, “What strategies have you found most effective for managing and leading your team?”
He responded, “When it comes to the management of the team, I follow these rules:
- Respect your team
- Teach them the job very well
- Be a good listener to them
- Be part of their social life support
- Show them full trust but sure this doesn’t come easily
- Be obliged to your commitments
- Create good bonds of love and trust
- Don’t be easy with their mistakes but teach them how to solve the issues”

We were curious to learn more about the aspects prioritized by Mr Mike Badran to adapt to the latest trends and changes. So, we asked, “In what ways has your industry changed since you started, and how has your company adapted to these changes?”
He responded, “True Line was established in January 2002 in Kuwait and in July 2018 in Qatar as one that offers superior marketing and event management services for the corporate and private markets that stay in control of the changes and needs in today’s competitive dynamic business with ever challenging social environments. We manage all aspects of event production from concept to realization. We provide innovative and stylish design as well as lighting and sound solutions for all events.”
He added, “We started in 2020 with two lines – Events management and promotions services. Now we are holding a total 5 lines of mission as follows:
- Events Management Mission or Line
- Direct Marketing Mission or Line
- Indirect Marketing Mission or Line
- Expos Organizers
- Business Developers”

“I received many rewards from different business owners and firms and am so proud of all. But the one that makes me and my team day is the International Recognition Reward or ISLQ (International Star for Leadership Quality from Geneva. This made me so proud of my achievements.” He replied.

We asked, “How do you balance the demands of your career with your personal life?”
He added, “To be honest, my career demands are stealing 70% of my personal life.”

“My main goal is opening an academy for Business. I don’t know when but I am working hard for it.” Mike concluded.
