We recently had the privilege of interviewing Mohammed Tareq Alawadhi, Founder and CEO at BUGLOUD. We started the interview by asking, “Could you share a brief overview of your career journey, including key milestones and transitions?
Mohammed Tareq responds, “I began my career in cybersecurity shortly after graduating from the Higher College of Technology with a specialization in Security and forensics. After years of experience in the public sector, where I founded and led the Computer Emergency Response Team for the Ministry of Interior in UAE, I realized the need for a localized bug bounty platform. Partnering with Hamad Alhameli, we launched BUGLOUD, which was established in 2022 and introduced at GITEX 2023 and took the audience by surprise with its innovative approach.”

He asserts, “My education was the foundation of my career. The hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge from the Higher College of Technology shaped my expertise in cybersecurity. It helped me recognize vulnerabilities in the digital landscape and inspired me to make meaningful contributions to safeguarding our digital infrastructure.”

He responds, “We’ve effectively navigated global trends by always being customer-centric. Understanding shifts in consumer behavior, such as increasing concerns about data privacy, allows us to tailor our services to meet those needs.”
