President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan met on Thursday to discuss ways to strengthen their nations’ solid ties and further their peoples’ ambitions for progress and prosperity.
They also discussed a variety of regional and international problems of common concern.
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the King of Jordan to Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, offering warm congratulations on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan and expressing his hope that it brings blessings to both nations and peace and stability around the world.
The two leaders also reviewed the most recent regional and international developments, including measures to address the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip by assuring the secure and unhindered delivery of essential aid by land, sea, and air. They emphasized the importance of relentless international action to ensure regional stability and contribute to a comprehensive, just, and long-lasting peace based on the two-state solution.
