International cooperation can be fostered via media, according to Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak.

The second International cooperation edition of the Global Media Congress (GMC) was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi by Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The international event is organized in collaboration with the Emirates News Agency (WAM) and will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from November 14–16, 2023.

During the inaugural speech of the second edition, Sheikh Nahyan stated: “Under the wise leadership and guidance of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, media and technology have become major areas of economic activities and growth in the UAE.”

The benefits of technology in our daily lives are growing, and our nation is constantly fostering chances that encourage creativity, inventiveness, and inventions that elevate the role of the media in our society,” he continued.

Sheikh Nahyan commended Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed’s proactive leadership and initiatives, noting that his astute awareness of how the media shapes attitudes and perceptions has made it possible for the Global Media Congress to be held in Abu Dhabi on a regular basis and ensured its relevance and ongoing success.
