According to Sertan Selcuk, Vice President for METAP & CIS, OPSWAT, “the UAE has a powerful cybersecurity landscape because the country has made significant investment in the sector to counter cyber attacks.”

“The GCC region is investing billions of dollars in the latest technologies to modernize their security systems,” he continued, speaking to Gulf Today at GISEC Global 2024.

Under the subject “Protecting the Pulse of Industry 4.0,” OPSWAT, a leader in critical infrastructure protection (CIP) cybersecurity solutions, participated in GISEC Global 2024, the premier security event in the area.

Selcuk said, “Our company has been doing business in the area since 2017.” We assist organizations in protecting their digital assets for security and have operations in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

He clarified, “We are providing service to various Industries in the region,” about the OPSWAT’s local clientele. We collaborate with the government, the oil and gas industry, financial institutions, and other businesses.

The business reaffirmed its dedication to the area and the significance of protecting the interdependent technologies and systems that are the foundation of the fourth industrial revolution.

Experts from OPSWAT talked about how the company’s products specifically address the special cybersecurity issues brought about by the fusion of operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT).
