In the Big Ticket Raffle, an Indian Wins Dhs10 Million and Decides to Help the Poor.

Raisur Rahman was the fortunate winner who took home the Dhs 10 million grand prize during the Series 264 Big Ticket draw. After participating in the Big Ticket raffle for 18 months, the Indian national, who has been living in Dubai with his wife and son since 2005, bought his winning ticket online.

As CEO of SI Global Group, Rahman was constantly searching for opportunities to invest. After learning about Big Ticket from a friend, he decided to begin purchasing raffle tickets intermittently.

Rahman lived in Dubai but frequently traveled to Abu Dhabi for business. He explained that he would get a ticket and park his car in Terminal A of the airport. He remarked, “I like shopping in person better than online.

Rahman could only use the word “great” to express how shocked he was to learn of his victory. He believes “if it’s meant to be,” it will find him. Due to his work and obligations, he hasn’t had the time to think about what to do with the winnings yet but insists it will be “something good” for him and his folks.

He also promises to donate some of his winnings to charitable causes. In response to a question about counsel he would offer fellow attendees, he declared, “God loves those who love others.” Don’t try to cut corners. Put in the effort. Be just, truthful, kind, and courteous. Invest your money, and lady luck will follow you everywhere.
