In hospitals, this robot can take your blood.

Emirates Health Services (EHS) has unveiled its most recent medical technology innovation: a blood-drawing robot that it has brought to its facilities. With this advancement, EHS uses a robot of that kind for the first time in the area. According to studies, the robot may save medical staff 80% of their time and cut down on patient wait times by 50% while drawing blood.

This blood-drawing robot is the first in the area to use this particular technology. It guarantees excellent service by utilizing infrared imaging and artificial intelligence.

According to EHS, the novel device is the subject of 56 patents in five different fields, and three more are pending accreditation. All internal systems and technologies are covered by these fields. Additionally, the UAE will soon be covered by the new patents.

The robot’s debut took place at Arab Health 2024. With the slogan “Innovating for Your Health… Excelling with You,” EHS presents 27 unique healthcare initiatives, 15 of which are being shown on its platform for the first time in a regional setting.
