The United Arab Emirates (UAE) intends to collaborate with many international and regional institutions and organizations to implement SpaceX’s Starlink satellite broadband at its field hospital in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that this action is just another demonstration of the UAE’s steadfast efforts to support the Palestinian people, who are brothers in the conflict. At the Strip Field Hospital, real-time video calling for possibly life-saving medical consultations will be made possible with installing the Starlink internet service.
The Ministry emphasized how crucial dependable high-speed internet is to providing high-quality healthcare to Palestinian patients by Gaza Strip hospitals.
In this context, the United Arab Emirates reiterated the significance of the prompt, secure, long-term, and unimpeded provision of relief and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
On Wednesday, negotiations to halt the Israel-Hamas war entered their second day in Cairo as Israel carried out a string of fatal strikes on Lebanon, fueling concerns about the violence spreading.
To free more hostages and free Palestinian detainees, mediators in Egypt were attempting to achieve a ceasefire as Israel was getting ready to launch a full-scale ground invasion into the densely populated far-southern city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
