“Intriguing Semi-Final Lineup Set for ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023

The stage is set for a thrilling knockout phase in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 as the four semi-finalists have been confirmed. Hosts India, led by Rohit Sharma, have secured the top spot in the group stage, guaranteeing them a semi-final clash against New Zealand on Wednesday, November 15, at 2 pm IST. The encounter will take place at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the same venue where India delivered a dominant 302-run victory over Sri Lanka earlier in the tournament.

In the other semi-final scheduled for the following day, South Africa and Australia will battle it out for a coveted spot in the final on Thursday, November 16, at 2 pm IST. The Eden Gardens in Kolkata will play host to this high-stakes encounter, with the winner earning the right to face either India or New Zealand in the final.

The grand culmination of the 13th edition of the Cricket World Cup is set to unfold at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19. With expectations of over 100,000 fans in attendance, the final promises to be a spectacular event, showcasing the pinnacle of cricketing excellence.

The confirmed schedule for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 knockout stage is as follows:

Semi-final 1: Wednesday, November 15, India vs. New Zealand, Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

Semi-final 2: Thursday, November 16, South Africa vs. Australia, Eden Gardens, Kolkata

Final: Sunday, November 19, India/New Zealand vs. South Africa/Australia, Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad

Cricket enthusiasts around the globe can look forward to an electrifying conclusion to this edition of the World Cup as the remaining teams vie for the coveted trophy in these highly anticipated encounters.
