RIYADH The Saudi defense minister announced the signing of an executive plan for “cooperation on capabilities, military industries, and R&D” between the defense ministries of Saudi Arabia and France.
While on an official visit to Paris, Prince Khalid bin Salman presided over the signing ceremony.
With Sébastien Lecornu, the French minister in charge of the armed forces, the Saudi minister of defense claimed to have discussed “strategic relations, defense cooperation and shared vision for regional security and stability.” In a statement on Wednesday, the Saudi minister said, “We also discussed the latest regional and international developments, as well as other topics of common interest.”
Along with a delegation, Prince Khalid landed in the French capital and will be meeting with various French officials.
