Following The Crash Death of Iran’s President Raisi, UAE Leaders Extend Their Condolences

Following the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his companions in a helicopter crash on Sunday, President Sheikh Mohamed of the United Arab Emirates has expressed his condolences to the Iranian government and people.

“I extend my deepest condolences to the Iranian government and people over the passing of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and those accompanying them following a tragic accident,” the President said in a statement posted on social media platform X. We ask God to give them eternal peace and rest.”

Sheikh Mohamed also sent his deepest condolences to the bereaved families.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s prime minister and vice president, expressed his condolences for the victims of the tragedy.

In addition, The Dubai Ruler posted on X, saying, “We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Iranian people and their leadership on the tragic deaths of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his Foreign Minister.” We are thinking of you during this trying time.

Officials and state media confirmed on Monday that the Iranian President and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, along with other dignitaries, had perished in a helicopter crash in steep terrain close to the border with Azerbaijan.
