Following Al Ain Football Club's AFC Champions League Victory, the UAE President Congratulates Them

In honor of their win in the 2024 AFC Champions League, President Sheikh Mohamed hosted the Al Ain Football Club team and their technical and administrative personnel at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi today.

In the course of the meeting, the President expressed his congratulations to the players, coach, administrative and technical staff, fans, and board of directors for their historic win—the club’s second in the history of the competition.

He praised the team for their outstanding performance during the competition, emphasizing their fierce competitiveness, tenacity, and winning mentality.

In addition, he conveyed his gratitude for all the hard work that went into helping the team win and represent the United Arab Emirates.

The team’s leader urged them to continue their winning ways and high standards, stressing that any success by national teams raises the profile of UAE sports generally and football in particular and encourages more sporting achievements in the future.

The athletes conveyed their gratitude to the President for his support and attention to the nation’s youth and sports sectors. They declared that the success of Al Ain Football Club is attributable to the rulers’ backing of the UAE’s athletes and sports industry.
