Exports and Reexports Made by Dubai Chamber Members Totaled Dhs73.5 Billion.

The first quarter of 2024 saw a number of noteworthy accomplishments, as reported by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers that operate under the Dubai Chambers umbrella.

The chamber’s sustained success results from its commitment to promoting economic development in Dubai, boosting the emirate’s competitiveness, assisting the private sector, and realising the goals outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).

In Q12024, 19,056 new businesses became members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, indicating a growth of 17.6% YoY. The data highlights Dubai’s increasing appeal to businesses and investors and the competitiveness of the emirate’s extremely advantageous business environment.

In the first quarter of 2024, members’ exports and reexports totaled Dhs 73.5 billion, a 4.5% YoY increase. The number of exporting members increased by 7.3 percent, from 8,848 in Q1 2023 to 9,496 in Q1 2024, according to data from the chamber. This growth indicates the robustness of Dubai’s international trade relations and the competitiveness and effectiveness of the local private sector in meeting the demands of global markets.

Over the three months, 191,013 certificates of origin were issued, representing a YoY growth of about 7%. Furthermore, 1,416 ATA Carnets totaling Dhs 804.9 million were issued and received.
