Due to violations of food safety and hygiene, the “Desi Pak Punjab Restaurant” is closed by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA).According to the authorities, insects were discovered by the inspection team in the area used for food preparation.
The team also disclosed that the restaurant closed in Abu Dhabi due to inadequate ventilation and general disarray.
In contrast, as part of its continuous effort to improve food safety in Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority carried out over 103,000 inspection visits last year, encompassing all food establishments within the emirate.
With roughly 63,690 inspection visits, Abu Dhabi City accounted for more than half of all inspection visits carried out in the previous year, compared to approximately 29,583 in Al Ain City and 9,998 in the Al Dhafra region.
The announcement is being made on June 7, which is World Food Safety Day. ADAFSA reiterated its dedication to offering the Abu Dhabi community wholesome and safe food.
This is accomplished by implementing efficient regulatory frameworks and all-encompassing agricultural and food awareness campaigns based on global best practices and risk analysis.
