Dubai Taxi Passengers may Now View News and Entertainment on the Go.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has installed 4,500 interactive screens to provide passengers with a wide range of luxury lifestyle, news, entertainment, offers, and promotions on the go.

The unique idea, inaugurated on Tuesday, aims to make taxi riders happy in the emirate. The proposal follows a successful experiment of in-car interactive digital screens across 250 taxis conducted by RTA in 2022 in conjunction with Hala, an e-hailing cab solution provider, and Binary Media, a passenger experience firm.

Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA’s Public Transport Agency; Khaled Nuseibeh, CEO of Hala; and Santosh Sarma, Co-Founder and CEO of Binary Media, all attended a formal signing ceremony to launch the project officially.

Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA’s Public Transport Agency, expressed his excitement at the beginning of this project, which aims to increase taxi users’ happiness and contentment.
