Dubai reduces visa process From 30 Days to Five.

Dubai officials said they had reduced the time it takes to process resident visas and work permits as part of a new efficiency initiative. The procedure of hiring a new employee is being reduced from 30 days to only five.

The number of documents necessary has also been reduced, from 16 to five.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Dubai’s Vice President and Ruler, unveiled the idea on Wednesday.

He stated that the “Zero Bureaucracy” initiative is intended to “streamline procedures and improve efficiency” in government.

Today marks the official introduction of the Employment Package, a groundbreaking endeavor aimed at speeding up, simplifying, and streamlining the residence and employment processes.”

The services include providing work and residency permits to new employees, renewing residency permits, performing a medical fitness exam for a resident visa, canceling work permits, and scanning Emirates ID fingerprints.
