Dubai Reduces the Work and Residency Visa Process from 30 Days to 5 With a New Platform.

With the ‘Work Bundle’ platform launch on Tuesday, the processing time for completing all essential paperwork to get work permits and resident visas was cut from nearly a month to five days.

According to authorities during a press briefing, the integrated approach will also cut the number of documents required from 16 to five, as well as the number of visits to service centers from seven to two.

The Work Bundle integrates all procedures for government entities, including the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre), the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, Dubai Health, the Department of Economy and Tourism, and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).

It will be introduced in Dubai first, followed by the other emirates.
