Dubai plans to build the second-tallest skyscraper for $1.5 billion

On a prime plot of land on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, Azizi Developments, a prominent private developer in the UAE, has started building on the second-tallest tower, a project valued at $1.5 billion. The skyscraper, which is expected to be finished in four years, will have a vertical mall, lavish apartments and penthouses, a seven-star hotel, an unparalleled observation deck, a lot of upscale food and beverage options, and other fascinating and distinctive features.

The founder and chairman of Azizi Developments, Mirwais Azizi, commented on this historic event, saying, “Today is a special day as we finally break ground on one of my dream projects in Dubai.” I’m thrilled to be celebrating this milestone with our team at Azizi—a team that will be constructing this iconic tower—even though the official ceremony will take place later.

“Our legacy will be this tower.” This skyscraper, which will be the second highest, is our way of giving back to this emirate and its extraordinarily friendly and accepting people, as Dubai has given my family and me so much—safety and an abundance of chances, he concluded.
