Dubai Duty Free revenues surpass Dhs7.8 billion.

Dubai Duty Free announced an all-time sales record of Dhs 7.885 billion ($2.16 billion) for 2023, marking a 24.39 percent gain over the previous year and a 6.40 percent increase above pre-pandemic levels in 2019. The operation started the New Year on a strong note.

With record monthly sales of Dhs 807.6 million ($221 million) at the end of December, the month saw an 8.37% rise over 2022. Dubai Duty-Free’s 40th-anniversary celebrations contributed to a 25 percent discount on December 20th, which fueled a 24-hour shopping spree worth Dhs 54.1 million (US$14.8 million) and significantly boosted December sales.

“We are thrilled to have achieved our target sales for the year, a record month in December, and a record year in 2023, which culminated with the celebrations of our milestone 40th anniversary,” stated Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman & CEO, in reflection of the year at Dubai Duty-Free. This year has been amazing, and I want to thank our Chairman, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, for his steadfast support. We would also like to express our gratitude to our fantastic personnel, suppliers, the media, and our customers for their contributions to our four decades of continuous success and expansion.
