Naukri Gulf has released a thorough statement in reaction to the controversy surrounding a real estate advertisement in Dubai that required female candidates to “strategically leverage dating apps.” This is in response to the News Times story from December 16th, which detailed how a job advertisement that was criticized for having a contentious criterion caused a lot of people to take offense.
Naukri Gulf addressed the matter in response to the uproar, providing details on the circumstances surrounding the posting and its subsequent removal from the platform.
The job posting’s host, Naukri Gulf, went live on the website for a limited period of time after clarifying that it was a free posting from a customer. In reaction to the event, the platform showcased its Quality Check (QC) procedure, which is a two-phase process that starts with human QC and ends with AI-powered screening for every advertisement on Naukrigulf.com.
The post was taken down right away after the AI quality control system found what Naukri Gulf called the “modus operandi” of lead generating in the content. In addition, the platform claimed that it moved quickly to disable access to the account that was in charge of the content, alleging a breach of their terms and regulations.
