De Kock hits 3000 IPL runs in the RCB vs. LSG match in IPL 2024.

Quinton de Kock, a wicketkeeper-batsman for the Lucknow Super Giants, reached the 3000-run mark in the Indian Premier League on Tuesday during the team’s game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Quinton de Kock is 23rd on the list of top run-scorers in the IPL overall.

The 31-year-old reached the mark in his 99th IPL game. His most outstanding score came in 2022 at Navi Mumbai, when he hit an undefeated 140 off 70 balls against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

On the list of the top run scorers in the IPL, De Kock is ranked 23rd overall and is the third South African, behind AB de Villiers (5162 runs) and Faf du Plessis (4179).

De Kock fell 35 runs shy of the elusive 3K milestone at the start of LSG’s third game of the season. Still, he only needed 22 balls to reach that point, hammering two sixes and four fours along the way.
