By 2030, Green Finance Could Contribute $2 Trillion to the GCC Economy

The Honourable In his capacity as the Finance ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, decided to promote 6,025 military personnel employed by Dubai military entities.

The General Directorate of Civil Defence in Dubai, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA), and cadres of the Dubai Police and State Security Department were among those promoted.

Major General Awad Hader Al Muhairi, Vice President of the State Security Department of Dubai, was promoted to Lieutenant General by Sheikh Mohammed’s decision no. 33 for 2024.

The decision will be published in the Official Gazette and go into effect on July 1, 2024. The decisions state that 4,219 members of the Dubai Police will receive promotions, 33 will receive promotions along with pension reductions, and 24 will receive pension reductions, for a total of 4,276 military personnel employed by Dubai Police.

Up to 548 GDRFA cadres will also receive promotions, consisting of three pensions and five promotions. This will bring the total number of military personnel employed by the GDRFA to 556.

The number of military personnel in Dubai’s State Security Department will increase to 803 after 783 are promoted, 19 are promoted and pensioned off, and one is pensioned off. 390 military personnel will be employed by the General Directorate of Civil Defence in Dubai after up to 387 military personnel are promoted, 60 military personnel are to be promoted and pensioned off, and 28 military personnel are to be pensioned off.
