Authorities in the UAE Stop 50,000 Cyberattacks Every Day.

According to a senior official of the UAE on Monday, the public sector organizations in the United Arab Emirates typically encounter and prevent 50,000 cyberattacks per day, and this number is rising as a result of global geopolitical concerns.

Cyber risks now affect the entire network of government entities, according to Dr. Mohammed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security, UAE Government. These threats include ransomware, phishing emails, scanning, and DDoS attacks.

He continued by saying that the region’s “geopolitical situations” are to blame for the rise in cybersecurity threats.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has implemented stringent measures, including fines and jail time, to combat cyber threats.
