Aditi Rao Hydari tells the story of her beloved tiny black "bottu."

Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari has revealed a touching story about the “little black dot,” or “bottu” (bindi). She describes how she first disliked wearing it but eventually developed a unique bond with it and now refers to it as her “favorite” accessory. Aditi, a resident of Hyderabad, was born to a Muslim father and a devoted Buddhist mother. Recognized for her roles in films such as “Delhi 6,” “Murder 3,” and “Padmaavat,” Aditi is a social media whiz with 10.7 million Instagram followers. Using Instagram, the actress shared stunning photos of herself wearing a lehenga on Saturday.

She wore a transparent dupatta and a matching blouse with a sweetheart neckline to go with the elaborately embroidered black lehenga. Aditi went with a subtle makeup style, thick brows, and pale pink, rosy lips. Her hair was parted in the middle and groomed in the way that has come to be associated with her. She chose identical jhumkas and multicolored bangles in one hand for her accessories.
