According to Sheikh Hamdan, Dubai's Non-Oil Foreign Trade Hit Dhs 2 Trillion in 2023.

In a record-breaking year, Dubai Customs recorded 26.5 million customs declarations, an increase of 18% from the 22.5 million declarations in 2022. A notable result for 2023 is the 15% rise in land-based trade volume, the 9% increase in air shipping, and the 8% increase in sea shipping.

Dubai Media Office of the Government, February 21, 2024: Under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a major global hub for trade and logistics services, as confirmed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. Dubai’s development is still faster than anticipated, and its objectives under the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, launched by Sheikh Mohammed,

In addition to the flourishing collaboration between the public and private sectors, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that Dubai’s non-oil international commerce continues to rise, reflecting the strength and effectiveness of Dubai’s partnerships with critical global partners.

His Highness further stated that Dubai’s success was also emphasized by its ceaseless efforts to guarantee that all necessary conditions persisted in order to maintain its leading position across a variety of economic and commercial sectors.
