Abu Dhabi will Carry out New Strategic Projects Worth Dhs3 Billion to Boost Traffic Safety.

Towards a Visionary Future, the ITC Abu Dhabi announces its new strategic initiatives, seamlessly incorporating infrastructure development and road networks at a total cost of more than Dhs3 billion. These activities demonstrate a solid commitment to improving community well-being and reflect the center’s vision for a strong, integrated transportation system.

Furthermore, the projects will achieve the ITC’s vision of improving traffic safety, increasing mobility between areas and economic zones throughout the emirate, streamlining traffic flow, reducing congestion, and providing new solutions to establish a sustainable integrated transport system that meets customer expectations.

Due to its size, the project has been divided into two sections. The first phase connects Saadiyat Island to Umm Yafina Road, which leads to Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Road and Al Reem Island. The second phase links Umm Yafina Island to Al Raha Beach, E10 Road, Al Kahleej Al Arabi Road (E20), and Zayed City.

The ITC has announced several significant projects, including a traffic enhancement project on Mussafah Road (E30). This project will remove traffic jams in both directions, relieve congestion at overhead and internal intersections in Mussafah and Mohammed Bin Zayed City, and build two new bridges to improve communication between the two cities.
