Applying for a Visa to Live in the UAE? Modify Online Health Insurance Information Starting on February 19.

Starting Monday, February 19, applicants can electronically upload information on their health insurance when applying for or renewing a UAE residency visa, doing away with the need to manually submit the paperwork.

The unified platform will be used to electronically transfer health insurance policies provided by approved health insurance companies, according to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP).

Health insurance plans issued by approved health insurance firms would be transferred electronically straight from the single platform, according to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP). The director general of the ICP, Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, promised that a secure link would be used for the procedure. He also mentioned that the digital method will expedite visa application and renewal procedure.
