UAE: Due to the unpredictable weather, government personnel will now work remotely.

Due to the anticipated unpredictability of the weather on Monday, February 12, government employees in the United Arab Emirates are permitted to work from home.

The UAE Cabinet declared that all federal employees, except those whose jobs demand a physical presence at the workplace, will work remotely on this day.

The administration of Dubai also said on Saturday night that all employees would be working remotely starting on February 12. The decision covers All government workers except those whose employment necessitates regular presence at work.

On February 12, government agencies and businesses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra will allow employees to work remotely; this will not apply to positions that need employees to be present in person at work.

In addition, because of the current weather, all public schools will hold their classes virtually.

A number of meetings have been organized by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) in response to the nation’s shifting weather patterns. A notice for variable-intensity rains, lightning, thunder, and possibly hail in some regions from Sunday to Tuesday was also issued earlier this week.

The government has reiterated that preventative steps are being taken and stated that the country is ready to face the impending drop in temperature. The NCEMA also released a warning.
