UAE blocks terrorist organizations' attempts at cyberattacks

The success of national cyber systems in preventing cyberattacks by terrorist organizations that attacked several crucial sectors in the nation has been confirmed by the UAE Cyber Security Council.
The Council said that cyber emergency systems had been activated nationwide in collaboration with all pertinent agencies.

These technologies successfully repelled the terrorist cyberattacks professionally, effectively, and preemptively, dissuading any potential tampering with the nation’s security and capabilities.

The Council observed that these terrorist organizations’ identities and the sites of their cyberattacks have been located and dealt with in compliance with cybersecurity and protection protocols.

The Council emphasized that all national teams are still working to strengthen the nation’s digital ecosystem in compliance with international standards and best practices. The Council also stated that the UAE has a highly developed digital infrastructure and can respond swiftly and nimbly to any cyberattack. The Council warned all individuals, organizations, and government agencies to exercise caution and vigilance to protect themselves from cyberattacks.
