An Indian passenger discovers a worm in their meal; the airline apologizes

The low-cost carrier IndiGo Airlines of Indian expressed regret to a woman on Saturday after she reportedly discovered a worm in the sandwich that was given to her during a journey from Delhi to Mumbai.

Dietician Khushboo Gupta stated in an Instagram post, “I’ll be sending in an official complaint via email shortly. As a public health professional, however, I would like to know why, after alerting the flight attendant that the sandwich was of poor quality, she persisted in serving it to other passengers. Children, the elderly, and other passengers were present. What happens if someone becomes infected?

She continued, saying, “Just one assurance that passenger health and safety should be your top priority.” She stated that she did not require any payment or reimbursement.

She wrote, addressing the crew, “Shouldn’t this be included in the same SOP? You are trained to save our lives in the unlikely event that something goes wrong.

1. It is necessary to question the quality

2. Even though she understood why she assisted a different traveler

In a statement, IndiGo expressed regret to the woman and stated that an inquiry is being conducted at this time. “One of our clients has expressed worry about their experience on aircraft 6E 6107 from Delhi to Mumbai.
