Christmas is being celebrated by UAE citizens with three days off and tree decoration.

Residents of the UAE are enjoying Christmas in a variety of ways, from taking three days off work to decorating trees and fusing customs from several nations.

The holiday season creates a web of customs that unites families in the United Arab Emirates, a nation recognized for welcoming more than 200 different nationalities. We dive into the endearing tales of four families that treasure their distinct Christmas festivities in the United Arab Emirates as the morning of December 25 dawns.

Margaryta Damilare, a Ukrainian expat who has been in the UAE for more than 11 years, enjoys the Christmas season because of the country’s diversity. Margaryta’s family throws a special festival that blends Nigerian and Ukrainian customs. At various marketplaces in the United Arab Emirates, their daughter gets to see Santa Claus and helps decorate a lovely Christmas tree.

They open their presents with great anticipation on Christmas Day, and then have a delicious breakfast at the Bulgari hotel and afternoon tea at the Jumeirah Al Qasr. Laughter and happiness fill the air as they watch their favorite Christmas films, especially the cherished Home Alone series.
