Sultan Al Qasimi inaugurates 7th Sharjah Desert Theatre Festival

The Honorable The 7th  Sharjah Desert Theatre Festival got underway on Friday night with an opening ceremony presided over by Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council. The Department of Culture is in charge of organizing the festival, which takes place in Al Kihaif from December 8–12.

The festival opened with a captivating production of Sultan Al Neyadi’s drama “Al Namous,” which was directed by Mohammed Al Ameri. The production, which included the extraordinary talent of some of the nation’s most well-known theater performers, was produced by the Sharjah National Theatre.

The drama captures the essence of the Emirati desert and highlights the need to preserve the land and its reputation in order to promote a dignified way of life in society. The play skillfully conveys the spirit of the Emirati desert, highlighting how crucial it is to preserve the land and honor tradition in order to lead a life of honor and dignity. It imparts valuable lessons on bravery and self-defense as well, traits that are exemplary of the people living in this great country.
