The President, His Excellency In light of global challenges, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reaffirmed that the UAE is unwavering in its commitment to promoting international cooperation, dialogue, and peace. The The UAE’s citizens will also continue to fortify its international engagement and forge partnerships in order to provide assistance to nations and communities that require it.

“The people of the UAE are central to our efforts to progress,” Sheikh Mohamed stated in a statement commemorating the 52nd Union Day of the UAE. True achievements are attained by dedication and selflessness toward the country. Above all, the strong foundations that the late Sheikh Zayed and his brothers built for our country—unity and loyalty—underpin our accomplishments and will continue to do so in the future.

The President of the United Arab Emirates said that this year’s Union Day coincides with the UAE’s hosting of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), the world’s largest environmental and climate event with significant international involvement.

The UAE’s hosting of COP28 highlights its legitimacy on a regional and international scale, as well as the significant role our country plays in addressing global concerns, particularly the mitigation of climate change, and its ongoing support for sustainability programs. Sheikh Mohamed clarified.
