Dubai, UAE – The 18th edition of the Dubai Airshow, the premier global event for the aerospace, space, and defence industries, is set to commence on Monday, November 13, at Dubai World Central (DWC). Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Airshow 2023 will run until November 17.
Themed ‘The Future of the Aerospace Industry,’ the Dubai Airshow will bring together over 1,400 exhibitors from 95 countries and more than 300 international speakers. With a focus on collaboration, technological advancement, and identifying future trends, the event is a key platform for industry trailblazers and innovators.
This year’s edition, recognized as the largest, will feature flying and static displays, showcasing more than 180 commercial aircraft. Airbus will present a series of aircraft, including A320P2F, A321neo, A330neo, Airbus A400M Atlas CMk1, H225 (Helicopter), and C295. Embraer’s latest E195-E2 will make its public debut, and Boeing will demonstrate its highly anticipated 777-9.
Leading airlines, including Saudia and Beond, will showcase state-of-the-art aircraft, featuring new concepts and livery. The event will also introduce the advanced aerial mobility pavilion, allowing attendees to experience the latest in electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, drones, and UAVs.
Dubai Airshow 2023 will elevate its focus on space exploration in partnership with the UAE Space Agency. The space pavilion will be expanded, hosting a dedicated two-day conference program with high-profile leaders, government officials, and change-makers sharing insights and pushing the boundaries of possibilities in space.
The UAE Space Agency will unveil its latest initiatives and projects, including the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt, the Planet X Challenge, and the Space Economic Zones program. Embracing the Year of Sustainability for the UAE, the Dubai Airshow will showcase advancements in sustainable aviation fuel and innovations in cleaner forms of aviation technology.
The mega-event promises to be a dynamic platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and exploring the cutting-edge developments that will shape the future of the aerospace industry.
