Israel keeps attacking Gaza's hospitals, leaving at least eight dead

Israeli  aircraft have persisted in Israel keeps attacking Gaza City’s hospitals.

Israeli missiles struck the Nasser Medical Complex, which has four hospitals, both directly and indirectly on Sunday following another blackout of communication and the network.

The strikes resulted in at least eight Palestinian deaths and several injuries, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

The Al-Nasser Children’s Hospital, the Rantisi Specialized Hospital, the Eye Hospital, and the Psychiatric Hospital were all located within the medical complex.

A physician at the Rantisi Hospital named Suleiman Qaoud said, “The [Israeli] army called some of our staff that night and said they will create a fire belt around the hospital.”

Israeli warplanes struck the area between the Psychiatric Hospital and the Rantisi Hospital at approximately 6:30 p.m. (16:30 GMT), injuring 35 persons, including some medical personnel. The southeast and northeast sections of the Rantisi hospital were also struck two hours later.

According to Qaoud, the hospital’s northeastern side houses a children’s cancer ward. He stated, “There were over thirty children undergoing chemotherapy treatment.”

The third attack on the hospital occurred when missiles struck the areas where displaced families had sought refuge and where ambulances and other vehicles were parked.
