Parts of Abu Dhabi had rain and hail; throughout the weekend, additional rains and a drop in temperature are predicted.

In the United Arab Emirates, rain and temperature dips are being recorded as November gets underway, with Parts of Abu Dhabi additional showers predicted for the weekend.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) reports that circumstances were partly cloudy to cloudy throughout the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with the highest concentration in the interior and eastern regions, including Al Dhafra and Al Ruwais   Abu Dhabi, Khor Fakkan and Fujairah in Sharjah.

Al Dhafra reported hail and rain. Yellow and amber alerts were released by the NCM because cloud activity is predicted to last until 8.30 p.m.

The Abu Dhabi Police issued a cautionary note to motorists. They requested that drivers use caution in light of the inclement weather and adhere to the dynamic speed limits posted on electronic information boards in a social media post.

Rainfall and cloudy conditions are predicted to last till Sunday. On Friday, more rain is predicted in coastal and western regions with a decrease in temperature, particularly in the west, like Abu Dhabi. Showers and a further drop in temperature are predicted for certain eastern and southern regions on Saturday. Rain and overcast skies are predicted on Sunday for people living in the eastern and northern regions of the country, including Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah.
