We recently had the privilege of interviewing Zineb Seyad, Founder of Global Business Direct. Her brand offers comprehensive end-to-end solutions and services to clients about to set up their business in Dubai. Early Life And Educational Background
We started the interview by asking, “Tell us something about you, your early life, and your education.”
Zineb Seyad shared, “So from an early age, I knew I needed to work very hard to be where I am today. I started working at the age of 15 years and carried on till today. I traveled wherever work was, starting as small as in a call center, working long hours for 300 dollars per month. And it’s there where I knew that I didn’t want to do that anymore. My last remarkable experience was in Nigeria, where I first flew to be an event planner for the biggest music festival in Africa. I decided to live there and start selling real estate in Lagos.”
Presence Of The Company
We were interested to learn about the presence of Zineb’s company in the GCC region. So we asked, “Tell us about the business and its presence in the GCC.”
Zineb Seyad shared, “I just started my company in Dubai, to be exact 6 months ago; it was a huge decision for me since how business is in the UAE is not like in the rest of the world. It’s challenging but offers so much, with an amazing number of opportunities and how to grow here. Global Business Direct was born after I began working on a full-time job in a similar business set-up company, but after not so long, I decided to go by myself and take all the risks it might take to succeed.”
Visions For Business Growth
Every business owner has some plans for taking their business forward. We asked, “What are some of the growth and expansion plans you have in your pipeline?”
Zineb Seyad replied, “I am planning roadshows between Europe, Australia, and Africa to expand my clientele database and onboard clients from abroad to show them the beauty of living in Dubai and setting up their business here. We are looking to expand in the UAE, that’s for sure, by enlarging our team and our offices. Why not?”

The COVID-19 period and post-pandemic, too, turned out to be a challenging time for many businesses out there. So we asked, “How has the year been for your company?”
Zineb Seyad shared, “Pretty challenging, but everything in life is right? If everything is perfect, there is no challenge, and challenge for me is exciting because it’s when you are creative and very productive, too. We loved moving so many clients to Dubai to start their business, and they decided to make Dubai their home. It is still impressive to me.”

Mutual respect and trust are built through reliability, trust, and honesty. Continuous learning and development is important because it encourages my team to always have new skills and knowledge.”

“Tell us about the company’s focus and investment in research and innovation.”
Zineb Seyad replied, “The company focuses on building a reliable name in the UAE and looking for expansion worldwide. We are also looking to give up 7 percent of our revenue for a good cause, partnering with an orphanage, because we strongly believe giving is one of the keys to success.”
