Baghdad, Iraq — A United States military aerial refuelling aircraft crashed in western Iraq during operations linked to the ongoing conflict with Iran, killing all six American service members on board. The incident occurred on March 12 when the KC-135 was flying in what the US military described as “friendly airspace” over western Iraq.
