We recently had the privilege of interviewing Bruno Veyre, CEO of Asia Pacific Chilean Company. Bruno’s passion for the Food and Beverage industry stems from food’s ability to unite people.
Realizing the entrepreneurial potential in the sector and aiming to create a global brand offering quality food and unique customer experiences, Bruno Veyre was drawn to this field. By identifying a market gap, Bruno developed a franchise model, enabling local entrepreneurs to bring their brand to multiple countries, and in building a sustainable and impactful brand. We started the interview by asking, “What inspired you to pursue a career in your industry, and how did you get your start?”
Bruno shared, “My inspiration to pursue a career in the food and beverage industry came from a deep appreciation for the power of food to bring people together. I was inspired by the potential for entrepreneurship within the food and beverage sector. The idea of creating a brand that resonates with customers and can expand globally was incredibly enticing. The dynamic nature of the industry, with evolving trends and consumer preferences, further fueled my passion.
I identified a gap in the market for a specific food concept that combined quality offerings with a unique customer experience. This led to the development of our franchise model, allowing for expansion into multiple countries by empowering local entrepreneurs to bring our brand to their communities. Overall, my journey into the food and beverage industry has been fueled by a strong passion for food, a desire to connect with people, and a commitment to building a sustainable and impactful brand.”
A Day In Bruno Veyre’s Work Life
We were curious to learn more about the daily activities Bruno Veyre needs to fulfill in his professional life. So, we asked, “Can you describe a typical day in your work life and highlight any key responsibilities?”
He shared, “A typical day involves a mix of strategic planning and hands-on management. I begin with a morning briefing with my executive team to discuss key performance metrics and ongoing projects. Throughout the day, I engage with franchise owners, review operational reports, meet with suppliers, and explore potential markets for expansion.
One of my key responsibilities is fostering a culture of collaboration and driving innovation across our franchises to ensure brand consistency and quality.”
Evolution Of The Industry
We further asked, “How has your industry evolved since you began, and what significant changes do you foresee in the next 5-10 years?”
“The industry has undergone significant changes, particularly with the rise of digital technology and the shift towards health-conscious consumer preferences. We’ve seen a growing demand for sustainable practices and transparency in sourcing ingredients. In the next 5-10 years, I foresee even more advancements in technology – such as AI for personalized marketing and operational efficiency – as well as a continued focus on sustainability and plant-based offerings.” Bruno replied.
Adaptability Amidst Challenges
Challenges are a part of every business journey. We asked, “What are some of the biggest challenges you have faced in your career, and what strategies did you use to overcome them?”
He responded, “One of the biggest challenges was navigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our franchises. We quickly adapted by enhancing our delivery services and embracing digital marketing strategies. Open communication with franchisees was crucial, along with flexibility in our operational approaches. By fostering a strong support network, we were able to weather the storm and emerge stronger.”

“One standout moment was when we launched a new franchise concept that focused on local sourcing. The positive community response reinforced my belief in our mission and our ability to make an impact through our business. It was a turning point that helped me understand the importance of aligning our corporate values with customer expectations.” Bruno replied.

He shared, “My leadership style is collaborative and inclusive. I believe in empowering my team and encouraging open dialogue. Regular team-building activities, opportunities for professional development, and recognizing individual contributions also play a crucial role in maintaining a positive work culture.”

He added, “We are actively exploring AI for enhancing customer experiences through personalized recommendations and loyalty programs. Additionally, we are implementing data analytics to optimize supply chain management and reduce waste. I expect these technologies will not only streamline our operations but also provide deeper insights into consumer preferences, leading to better decision-making and increased customer satisfaction.”

“To stay ahead, we prioritize continuous improvement and innovation. This includes investing in new product development based on consumer trends and enhancing our customer engagement strategies. For long-term goals, I aim to expand our franchise network internationally while maintaining strong brand integrity. I aspire to continue leading with purpose, mentoring future leaders in the industry, and championing sustainability within our operations.” Bruno concluded.
