Three Tonnes of Medical Supplies and Medications are Sent by the UAE to Gazans in Khan Younis

In light of the recent events and developments in Khan Younis, the UAE immediately supplied three tonnes of medical supplies and a variety of medicines to support the healthcare sector and hospitals that are still operational in the Gaza Strip.

This action followed appeals from the medical community, notably Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, regarding a lack of medications to guarantee continuous healthcare delivery to all displaced individuals and injured patients.

The medical aid includes a variety of essential medical supplies for hospitals experiencing shortages, medications for different kinds of wounds, insulin dosages for patients with diabetes, and other ways to help the healthcare industry in this dire circumstance.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), in collaboration with multiple hospitals and global medical associations, seeks to improve the healthcare landscape in the Gaza Strip following the war’s devastation, which forced the closure of dozens of hospitals due to lack of supplies and medication, leaving patients and injured in different parts of the Strip without access to care. The Gaza Strip’s hospitals have received various medical supplies from the UAE, including ten fully functional ambulances.
