UAE and Japan Signed More Agreements of Understanding and Discussed Recent Developments.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida met with Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber. The UAE Ambassador to Japan, Shihab Al Fahim, and Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, attended the meeting. Dr. Al Jaber met with the Japanese Prime Minister and gave him greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He also wished for Japan and its people to advance and prosper.

The implementation of cooperative projects and programmes within this framework, as well as the most recent developments in the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Initiative, were discussed by the two parties. Under the umbrella of the comprehensive strategic partnership initiative, which was launched during the visit of His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, to Japan in September 2022, this visit is part of the efforts to strengthen the long-standing relations between the two friendly countries, as well as their aspirations to achieve sustainable economic growth.

Dr. Sultan Al Jaber met with Yoshimasa Hayashi, Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary, Taro Kono, Minister for Digital Transformation, Ken Saito, Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Kamikawa Yoko during his visit.
