Tech Company from South Korea Enters Omani Market

GSIL, a South Korean smart safety technology company, has expanded its presence in the Middle East by entering Oman and showcasing its advanced safety standards.

Following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in Dubai with the UAE-based Gas and Petroleum Trading Atlantis Wide LLC with refinery business in Oman, GSIL, which last year introduced and implemented its Smart Site Safety Solution (4s) at the Saudi Aramco Jafurah Gas Processing Facilities Project (JFGP) site, enters Oman.

At an event held at the Atlantis Wide offices at Church Tower in the Business Bay, the Korean company was represented by its manager, Hashemi Hosseini, while the Chief Executive Officer of GSIL, Lee Jung-woo, represented Atlantis Wide.

Hosseini says Atlantis Wide intends to “introduce GSIL’s leading smart safety technology to construction sites and refining plants in Oman.” It is anticipated that the two businesses’ strategic partnership will improve productivity through ESG (environment, social, and governance) for the commercialization of smart safety and sustainable development.

Hosseini continued, “We will actively support entry into Middle Eastern countries, focusing on the UAE and Oman.” According to GSIL’s CEO, the deal is a “valuable partnership” that “actually achieves outcomes thanks to active investments in the region.
